Playworks in Washington, D.C.

Playworks launched programming in six schools in the nation's capital in the fall of 2006. In the past three years, we have expanded to serve 16 schools in Washington, D.C. and are expanding every year. Play works, and principals rave about the impact Playworks is having - both on and off the playground. 
 

Playworks at the White House Easter Egg Roll

On April 13, Playworks in Washington, D.C. had the fantastic opportunity to show off the work we do at the White House Easter Egg Roll. Some 30,000 kids, parents and other dignitaries showed up for this year's event, and most of them made their way through the Playworks basketball and soccer stations.
